Exhibition Opening for Valentine’s Weekend of Daniel Johansen’s Work in Story, Wyoming
Story, Wyo — Local artist, Daniel Johansen will be showing a number of his paintings over the Valentine’s holiday at the Tunnel Inn in Story, Wyoming. Johansen has been painting full time since he retired from the construction business he had out in San Diego, California about five years ago. He’s already been accepted and invited into many prestigious shows and galleries. But, in case you think he’s some kind of protegee, well, not really. Johansen credits much of his talent and skill to his mother who was both an artist and an art teacher. These days she lives in Story too and enjoys seeing her son do so well.
The show is, according to Johansen a combination of fine art and fine dining. A chance to eat some of Chef Norm’s famous fare surrounded by extraordinary original art of the West. Johansen will also be available to speak with folks at an informal artist’s reception from 3-5 pm daily during the exhibition. The exhibition, fittingly, will start on Valentine’s the 14th of January and end on the 17th. All the works are for sale.
